The Project Manager (PM) is a core function within the Project Office (PMO) with this major enterprise solutions provider.
The PM, together with a team of Engineers, designers, other internal resource and associated Strategic Suppliers, is responsible for the delivery of high value and high profile projects (LAN/ WAN/ IPT) to time, cost and agreed requirements.
Responsibilities include :
Provide main interface to the customer Project Management / Governance Board and strategic suppliers for assigned client projects
Assisting with winning of new business by supporting the Sales and Bid team with project delivery plans, PM costing, initial risks and assumptions.
Build and maintain solid working relationships with key customer stakeholders, internal provision, personnel and strategic suppliers.
Provide regular and effective communication on progress of all projects in delivery to internal and external defined key stakeholders
Produce detailed documentation in accordance with both the customer and project methodology
Conduct regular project review meetings with the customer, suppliers and the project team.
Assume responsibilities under Health & Safety laws and CDM regulations including operational access to secure sites (including the production of risk assessments and method statements).
Provide project completion documentation / information for operational / service support.
Provide financial control inclusive of planning and reporting for the projects budgets and revenue.
