NETWORK ADMINISTRATOR - GERMANY A Network/ UNIX engineer is required for a multi-national Pharmaceutical company.The role is based in Germany and the ideal candidate will have an in depth knowledge of Windows server technologies (NT/2000/2003, IIS, ISA) and related applications (SQL, Squid Proxy, Solaris). A strong working knowledge of various network protocols, i.e. TCP/IP, IPX etc and an strong working knowledge of routing is essential. The role will also involve 50% Unix and solaris work so a good appreciation is essential for this role. Key responsibilities of the role will include developing managing corporate-wide global LAN/WAN Infrastructure. You will also act as a senior technical advisor in providing guidance and direction to customers in identifying solutions to business requirements. As network administrator you will be responsible for the day to day maintenance and support of UNIX and Network Infrastructure. Excellent communication in German or Dutch and English and interpersonal skills are also essential.
