HR Manager - Retail

Our Client is a FTSE 250 media retailer based in Central London. With a very recognisable and strong brand, this business is going from strength-to-strength. 2008/2009 will see a range of interactive concept stores being opened across the UK and Ireland. We are looking for a HR manager to join an expanding team. You will be part of a centrally based HR function and will support Regional Managers and Store Managers in recruitment, succession, retention and employee relations. You must demonstrate the ability to: - Communicate with Regional Managers to support with the improvement of HR key performance indicators and the recruitment of management and store teams. - Carry out analysis of HR measures providing recommendations for improvement in line with business requirements. - Supports the delivery of new induction courses across retail. - Update policies and procedures in line with legislative change. - Support the resolution of employee relation's issues across retail providing advice and coaching for Store Managers to improve performance. - Conduct store and assistant manager exit interviews. - Support HR related business critical projects across the department by conducting research both internally and externally to provide ideas and recommendations for the business. - Present at Regional and Divisional meetings where required.
