DESKTOP SUPPORT ENGINEER Bristol, England

A prestigious financial company in Bristol is currently looking for a Desktop Support Engineer. You will have experience in 1st / 2nd line support and have excellent experience in Microsoft XP and Microsoft Windows 2003. Experience of supporting 150 users is required as you will be supporting approximately 300 users. Your main responsibilities are: "To assist business in the provision of technical PC based & PC Application based support activities as required across the business. "To provide user application support for all current PC & Server based PC applications. "To provide mail client application support. "To assist other areas of the IT function in developing front end PC applications as required "To provide hardware support for all PC based support applications. "To assist in managing the economic maintenance of all PC/ Printer systems. "To assist in maintaining full legal complicity regarding installed PC software. "Participate in training to improve overall technical skill levels of the PC Support team "To fully support all equipment relocation - moves, etc. "To assist in ensuring that appropriate levels of stocks are held.
