IP Engineer performs Installation, Configurations, Commissioning, and Provisioning of all Network Elements of GPRS Core Network.
• Install and Configure GGSN, DNS, BG, CG, FW Checkpoint, Cisco Router, Cisco Core Switch.
• Responsible for network Expansions at customer premises
• Responsible for Installation and Test of Change Notes at Nokia and/or customer premises
• Responsible for Acceptance Testing at customers premises
• Responsible for HW retrofits at customers premises
• Technical Support tasks for the Products within the Product Competence Group
• Participate in On-Site Support rota operation for the customers
• Participate in NOS service for the Products within the Product Competence Group
• Participate in HelpDesk and Emergency rota operation.
• Perform Integration of SGSN, PoC to GPRS Network.
• Perform 3rd level Troubleshooting and Support for GPRS Core.
• Provide log trace for network analysis using network analyzer.
• Perform Operation and Maintenance 24X7 for GPRS via OSS.
• Attend meetings regarding all GPRS Review Implementations.
• Provide assessment for future upgrade of system performance.
• Perform other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
