mY client in the Middle East is looking for Second tier Operations and maintenance engineers that have experince on NSN IN (IN @vantage) platforms. The main Network Elements supported includeI N @vantage Platform SF6900 ; charge@once select 1.2 / @comm + Backup & Restore 2 in 1 Large ; ChrissXpress TopUp @vantage (VoMSXpress + eFillXpress) ; IP Dispatcher. Applicant must have Two years hands on experience on NSN IN platforms. Trained on NSN IN @vantage administration and operations. Good grasp on IN, SS7 protocols and call flows (CAP, MAP, SINAP), Unix administration, Oracle database administration, Networking (LAN configurations and CISCO witch handlings). Able to work in a team made up of staff from diverse cultural backgrounds. Experience in establishing international roaming links for prepaid subs. * Responsibilities. Resolution of trouble tickets raised by NOC / Customer / other SLM Teams Escalation of complex faults to the next level of support - Care or 3rd Parties Follow-up with Care for open faults / technical Liaison with other SLM team to resolve faults / technical issues Liaison with Customer regarding technical queries and reporting Detailed analysis of IN Performance Data Actively participate in IN equipment acceptance test before handover between delivery and MS/ Customer Daily routine maintenance checks and operations Liaison with Care for network element upgrade / performing upgrades Development of O&M Procedures and implementation / Coordination with Process Consultant DELIVERABLES / PERFORMANCE MEASURES (Goals and targets to be achieved, reporting etc.): Problems solved or escalated to the correct group/team. Core NE's downtimes decreased, meeting SLAs Daily routine O&M of the IN platform Backup (Fall back / charging files) Signaling links creation management and modifications Ensure that all IN and associated faults and performance degradations in the managed network are correctly solved within the SLA timeframe or escalated to the next level of support Follow-up on all open trouble tickets in the area of operation till closure Ensure the enforcement of the change management process across the platforms Able and willing to be part of 24/7 call out Rota Generate fault reports and root cause analysis reports for all major faults in his/her area of operations for the customer/ management Responsible for assuring in depth analysis and troubleshooting of Performance Management report in conjunction with CM/PM team Eutopia Solutions Ltd is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
