Senior Business Development Manager: Dublin Our client who is a Global IT Services Provider is looking to hire a Senior IT Business Development Manager for their Information Solutions & Services Division (SIS). The successful candidate will drive the company's IT solutions business in the Northern Ireland territory, investigating and converting new opportunities while managing existing business. This is a rare career opportunity for a highly driven, strategically-minded sales professional. Purpose of Role: To generate and lead sales and business opportunities taking into account market sector objectives and strategies, accountability for final proposition in respect of delivery by business area. Systems Integration Business Solutions especially in the Public Sector (Command & Control, Schengen Border Control, etc.) IT Managed Services / IT Outsourcing Strong / existing business network into NI market Knowledge of all-island Irish marketplace essential Key Requirements: At least 5 years demonstrable IT sales experience Business Awareness - Organisation Commercial Awareness - Optimises Conceptual Thinking - Constructs Customer Focus - Partners Influencing - Creative Relationship Building - Extends Key Accountabilities: Relationship Building: To identify target customers within industry sector, determine key executives, develop and maintain appropriate relationships at all levels within the customer business to form the basis from which sales leads will be identified. Sales Strategy: To produce and agree a formal sales strategy with stakeholders in order to maximise the sales potential and achieve a win-win strategy for the Company and the customer. Pre-Sales Process: To understand industry sector/business and develop business propositions to generate sales leads and business opportunities in both single and multiple business units within area of responsibility to ascertain pipeline for future business opportunities. Sales Process: Lead and influence the sales and bid process ensuring appropriate liaison and consultation within the Company and a seamless transition into the appropriate business area to secure new business and achieve business objectives for industry sector/business area. Negotiation and Contract Signature: To lead the sales negotiation to contract signature to secure new business for Siemens on behalf of all stakeholders of the opportunity. Delivery Phase: Take entrepreneurial responsibility for project / service delivery focusing on governance / monitoring activities and assure revenue and profit realization. Risk Management: Ensure that all new major business opportunities are properly risk assessed with appropriate management level for effective financial control.
