Snr Software Engineer

Senior Software Engineer - Dublin :
Our client based in Dublin is currently looking for a Senior Software Engineer who will be responsible for our Dublin Office, the Engineer will be responsible for particular areas of product expertise, enhancing and sustaining our clients Mobile Products, a mobile email and content solution for consumers.
The responsibilities here are intended as general guidelines. Other responsibilities may be assigned from time to time depending on business needs. Primary responsibilities include:
You will be responsible for :
*Design and implement new product features and enhancements
*Maintenance of high quality programming standards, performance of developer module testing and performance of integrated bundle testing.
*Work with the Quality Assurance and Technical Writing teams during product release cycles.
Essential :
*UNIX skills
*Proficiency in C
*Multithreaded or Multiprocess Design and Programming
*Knowledge of Internet Protocols
*Proven understanding of software development processes and experience with Software Release Mechanisms.
Desirable
*Java skills
*Experience in some of SMPP, EAIF, MM7, HTTP, HTML, XHTML, SOAP, OTA, WAP, MIDP, IMAP, POP, SyncML,.
*Experience with agile development methodologies
