1) Manage the network planning and optimisation activities.
2) Provide the WCDMA network Planning and Optimisation consultancy to customers and partners.
3) Support customers in WCDMA network rollout and future network expansion strategy.
4) Co-operate with Technical Manager in problem solving and technical solution finding
5) Ensure the network planning and optimisation work progress in the responsible area is updated into the project management tools on time and accurate.
6) Communicate the management decision to the team member and network planning progress to Regional Project /implementation manager and Network Planning manager
7) Main customer interface for Network planning related issue
8) Support the development of the WCDMA network planning and optimisation process and procedure development.
9) Provide technical support and On-Job training to the planning engineer in the project
10)Ensure the quality of work deliver by the planning team and partners achieved customer's expectation.
Competencies and Skills:
-GSM/GPRS/EDGE/3G concepts & architecture knowledge
-2G & 3G Circuit Switched Core planning competence & experience
-Perform GSM/3G NSS and DCN network planning
-Perform and deliver datafill for 3G CS Core network
-Work independently in customer premises
-Core network planning and dimensioning experience
-Nokia DX200 series in-depth knowledge (MSC/HLR integration knowledge)
-Understand for SS7/INAP/CAP signalling and 3G interface & protocol/standard
-Perform planning for GSM migration to Rel.4 Core network knowledge
-Additional 2G/3G Packet Switched core planning competence would be an asset
