Principal Engineer - Dublin :
Our Client requires a Principal Engineer Based for there Dublin Office, the Engineer will be responsible for particular areas of product expertise and development of the CP mobile client product which provides PIM and file content synchronization to consumers.
Responsibilities will include
The responsibilities here are intended as general guidelines. Other responsibilities may be assigned from time to time depending on business needs. Primary responsibilities include:
*Architecture and tools selection
*Design and implement parts of the client
*Liaise with 3rd party developers
*Maintenance of high quality programming standards, performance of developer module testing and performance of integrated bundle testing.
Work with the Quality Assurance and Technical Writing teams during product release cycles.
Essential
*Expertise in J2ME APIs and JSRs
*Good understanding of Mobile device constraints
*Knowledge of mobile technology trends
*Development experience on mobile handsets: tools, tests environment, simulators, live networks testing...
Desirable
*Experience with agile development methodologies
*Unix and C skills
