Country Flag IT Voice And Video Network Operations Engineer BASEL

My client is a global, independent biopharmaceutical company discovering, developing and marketing innovative drugs for high unmet medical needs.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining the global voice and video infrastructure
  • Configuration of voice and video endpoints and their deployment to customers
  • Proactively proposing evolutionary improvements to the current architecture
  • Detecting customer problems in voice and video networks and bringing them to resolution
  • Providing methodical, timely and rigorous analysis and problem solving
  • Supporting Technician during their on-site interventions

Education/Experience/Skills:

  • Strong technology knowledge in voice/video over IP services
  • Strong Cisco VOIP skills (Call Manager 4 and 6, CCME, Unity)
  • Significant experience with Tandberg video products (infrastructure products and video endpoints)
  • Good knowledge of IP routing and switching in Ethernet and wireless environments
  • Previous telco experience on Legacy PBX systems would be an asset
  • Good team player and be used to working in a lively, international environment
  • Fluency in English (knowledge of German and/or French would be an asset)
