Genesys Support Team Member - Dublin - Contract

Role description:
As a Support Team Member you will:
-Operate as part of the CCM Support Technical Team to provide second level support
-Resolve all queries and issues escalated by first line or CST within SLA timeframes to ensure minimum customer impact
-Operate as part of the on-call rota for second line support.
-Act as primary owner for one or more key Care systems, including but not limited to IVR applications, ensuring that the Hardware, Software and system maintenance / health checks are appropriate and scheduled accordingly.
-Adhere to testing, security, incident and change management procedures
-Operate with the incident managers to ensure speedy resolution of issues and provide required detail for accuracy of reporting.
-Liaise with SMC to put appropriate monitoring and alerting capabilities in place for proactive systems management
-Liaise with Infrastructure vendor representatives as necessary to manage introduction and acceptance of new systems into support
-Update documentation to retain relevance for Internal/external audit review and Sarbanes Oxley compliance.
-Resolve operational issues that are escalated from first line in line with SLAs.
-Ensuring key systems have required capacity and are operationally fit for purpose.
-Implementation of continuous improvement initiatives
-Ensuring all incidents and issues for key systems are added to knowledge base
The ideal candidate will possess:
-Excellent knowledge of the following Genesys Applications.: ccPulse, IRD, CME,OCM, WFM, ICS, Tserver/Symposium & CIT
-Knowledge of Voice Objects
-Previous knowledge of structured programming techniques
-Excellent Unix, NT/2003 and SUN experience.
-Detailed knowledge of VB, Web and .Net technologies
-Expertise in application support, specifically Microsoft VB, C++, AP, HTML, SQL, COM, MTS, .NET
-Excellent knowledge of Internet technologies, web services and java applications
-Knowledge of RDBMS (Oracle)
Preferred qualifications:
-Degree, Diploma (or equivalent) in IT/Engineering
-Certified to Genesys.
