Our Client is the world's leading provider of Internet messaging and directory software with sales offices and development centres in the US, Europe and Asia. This Company develops products at the leading edge of Internet technology, but also train, support and supply product to customer base in Europe, Africa and Asia.
Our Client is currently looking for Software Engineer to join their existing team. This is an excellent permanent opportunity for Software Engineer to showcase potential and progress career in great environment.
Responsibilities
-Design and implement new product features and enhancements
-Maintenance of high quality programming standards, performance of developer module testing and performance of integrated bundle testing.
-Work with the Quality Assurance and Technical Writing teams during product release cycles.
Essential
-Degree calibre candidate in either Computer Science or Engineering (or equivalent).
-Proven track record in software development and sustaining.
Essential Technical skills & Knowledge
-UNIX skills
-Proficiency in C
-Multithreaded or Multi-process Design and Programming
-Knowledge of Internet Protocols
-Proven understanding of software development processes and working knowledge of Software Release Mechanisms.
Desirable
-Java skills
-Working knowledge of some of SMPP, EAIF, MM7, HTTP, HTML, XHTML, SOAP, OTA, WAP, MIDP, IMAP, POP, SyncML,.
-Working knowledge of agile development methodologies
