Our client is a leading provide of mobile, and prepaid services to the consumer marketplace. With a European footprint and global aspirations, they have grown rapidly in five years and will achieve global revenues in excess of 600m this year with a headcount of 500 personnel. They plan to float the business and as such are pre-IPO at present.
The role provides a broad platform to operate at board level across both Commercial/Corporate responsibilities. You will have responsibility for approximately 50 individuals covering a number of divisions including Sales Accounting, Accounting, Treasury, and Financial Strategy.
You will have a focus for developing business plans across Europe determining that costs and expenditure ensure a profitable execution and provide strategic recommendations to underpin this. To this end you will be visible in negotiations with 3rd parties around contracts, pricing and terms.
You will also an integral part of the board level team involved in acquisitions and disposals across Europe. You will also review all statutory accounts for each European entity, compliance and legal obligations as well as Tax and P&L.

You will be a qualified chartered accountant with significant experience and a background in the service provider industry. You will have recognised qualifications, be strategically minded and a demonstrable European profile. A profile in a Telecommunications or Mobile player would be a distinct advantage.
