Management Accountant - AOL Broadband West London, England

Purpose of the role: The key responsibilities in the role will be the preparation of high quality management accounts, monthly reporting and business planning. Support the Senior Finance Analyst in providing financial control, reporting and support for Voice and Narrowband. Complete month-end and quarter-end reporting requirements within departmental deadlines. Review month-end processes and documentation to ensure robustness of financial models and quality of deliverables. Responsibilities - Preparation of monthly management accounts and variance analysis. - Production of annual budget, quarterly re-forecasts and 3 year plan for Voice. - Assist in the timely production of monthly management accounts packs including journals. - Resolve P&L queries and review. - Production of balance sheet reconciliations. - Cashflow forecasting. - Managing key supplier payments. - Liaise and assist with the annual audit process. - Assist the Senior Financial Analyst with weekly, periodic and ad hoc analysis work. - Liaising with senior finance and non-finance staff Knowledge/Skills: -Part Qualified Accountant - CIMA/ACCA - Experience of Coda and PeopleSoft packages an advantage - Educated to degree level or equivalent -Good Microsoft Excel skills -Experience of working in a an environment of high levels of accuracy and detail - Exposure to a Finance Accounting environment - Working with detailed reconciliations - Solid Management Accounting experience at another large organisation and an excellent pass rate throughout the Accounting qualification are essential.
