We are looking for a passionate internal journalist / internal PR / internal marketing professional to be the voice of this high profile, cutting edge organisation. You will be adept at flushing out opinion across the various departments across the group, bringing together awareness of technological developments and key events as they unfold. This is a unique, challenging, autonomous and very visible role within a prolific market leader.
Specific job duties
Support line & project managers as they strive to motivate and inform staff of new developments.
Develop motivational and informative content and collateral to communicate the role, programme, activities and performance of the department across the organisation.
Bring particular focus across the organisation on to the people involved in key programmes such as next generation broadband.
Use appropriate and sensitive journalistic techniques to bring out and celebrate the stories of individuals and teams.
Support the delivery of strategically important messages to colleagues within the business as a whole.
Support the delivery of technical content to the mobile and office based staff across the business
Hands on development of content and collateral including: web material, news letters, mail drops, etc....
Skim project and programme portfolio for important events, facts, milestones & people.
Interview staff, managers, internal & external customers for content
Support managers as they strive to motivate and inform our people
Degree qualified or equivalent
Outstanding communicator with energy & passion
Qualified in Journalistic or Marketing orientated discipline T
rack record of innovative & creative thinking
Able to personally develop collateral on multiple media especially intra-net applications
