My client is a start up organisation in the financial services sector focusing on risk management systems. Their product is unique in the market place and is pitched at the right time for the company to flourish. The role will combine traditional enterprise application integration architecture with up to date website architecture models to deliver service oriented architectures (SOA) for my clients investment management clients and hedge funds. It is clear that the right individual must be able to show experience of designing high availability financial decision support and risk management systems. You will also need to understand relational database systems, development experience of J2EE, design XML to model data and experience of at least one major middleware product like BizTalk, Web Methods or TIBCO. Finally you also need to have experience of building web services and related technologies such as WS - Security, SOAP, BPEL4WS and UDDI. The individual needs to be a true Enterprise Architect and have outstanding communication skills and be able to manage vendors and key stakeholders alike. This individual will be totally business critical and will therefore be well rewarded.
