Our client, a major supplier of voice, data and IP solutions are seeking 2 pre-sales consultants with a service provider or integrator background to provide technical pre-sales support to Account Managers and our external customers in the Public Sector and Business Markets. This support is provided through internal and external meetings, formal presentations, and input into bid responses. The team you will be joining are the technical authority for the overall solution and are therefore responsible for ensuring that it meets the customers requirements.
Detailed Description
·Support achievement of sales team and overall financial targets
·Support sales staff in qualifying, design, risk assess, propose and present solutions for our customers.
·Manage Customer Solutions and supplier technical resources in support of the organisation's designs and proposals
·Work with sales staff for allocated accounts to plan Customer Solutions resource against forecast opportunities within those accounts.
·Work with sales staff to develop and maintain account plans for allocated accounts
·Work with Project Management and engineering associates to accurately estimate (labour, materials, components and programme) required to deliver network solutions
·Provide documented technical designs for implementation of business solutions by project management and engineering associates
·Represent the business both individually and with other associates with customers at technical and business management levels in carrying out and promoting our designs for customers requirements.
·Provide professional consultancy services to customers as directed by the Customer Solutions Team manager in support of business opportunities.
·Provide technical advice and guidance to customers in the use and exploitation of provided solutions
·Maintain and develop a high level of product and technical knowledge in areas as necessary to support the design role and as directed by the Business Solutions Manager.
·Operate and assist in the development of processes to maximise the effectiveness and minimise errors in the delivery of solutions.
·Provide professional consultancy services to customers as directed by the Business Solutions Manager in support of business opportunities.
What we need
·Have primary experience of manufacturers such as SYSTIMAX and ADC KRONE, ideally attained manufacturer accreditations.
·Have additional experience of other industry manufacturers such as Brand-Rex, Panduit, Molex etc.
·Ability to use PC applications (Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Visio, Email).
·Pre-sales experience with a service provider or network integrator or equivalent relevant experience.
·Proven ability to design and manage Structured Cabling solutions for networks with a value up to £1m and of providing written designs and contributions for submission to customers at all levels
