My client is a reputable communications company who focus on the supply of fully integrated voice and data products and services to businesses, with the overall aim of reducing costs and increasing efficiency. Key customers include corporate, wholesale and retail companies. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an acquisitive organisation at a senior level.
As Sales Director you will build and manage a new sales function across three lines of critical Business - Networks, IP Communications and Mobile. You will report into the Managing Director, with responsibility for accelerating the growth of a cross functional team of approx 12 professionals. A primary focus will be your customer visibility, as well as managing and driving the cross sales function across multiple product lines into existing customer bases. Further responsibilities will include creating a recruitment process for new sales and telesales executives; and modelling commercial terms from various suppliers, creating pricing models for customer propositions.
The successful candidate will come from a telecoms background, and have a number of years of successful Sales, and Sales Management experience, having previously established and built new sales teams in a telecoms environment. It is essential that you are commercially aware with a focus on sustainable revenue growth and controlled costs. The successful candidate will possess strong relationship management skills and have the ability to motivate and inspire colleagues in the team. Further due to the nature of my clients business, an excellent understanding of fixed, broadband and mobile markets, including system sales, as well as the development of products in the SME sector is essential.
