£25,000 - £35,000 dependant on experience.
As the Materials Engineer, you will offer independent & reliable insight to R&D projects within this major telecoms company.
With specialist knowledge & experience, you will have a strong materials engineering background and be able to apply your scientific expertise to a range of standard & non standard materials & research projects.
With the ability to work with and support a diverse group of R&D Engineers, you will have a real passion in working with and developing new materials and processes. You will find the variety of complex tasks and problems a challenge and be able to offer inventive ideas and novel processes/solutions.
Along with new R&D materials development work, you be able to offer materials engineering support, from interpreting and understanding materials technical issues and problems to supporting the product development teams as a materials specialist.
As the Materials Engineer, you will have experience of a wide range of materials and manufacturing processes which are likely to include Welding, Plating, Forging, Casting and Powder Metallurgy.
