DSP Engineers / software developers sought by my international client, skills sought include, DSP, software, embedded, c, assembler, wireless comms, GSM/GPRS/EDGE/E-EDGE, WCDMA/HSDPA/HSUPA, LTE/OFDM, L1, L1 Control, L2 RLC/MAC, LLC, RR/RRC, device drivers, real-time, OS, thames valley My client is seeking Layer 1 DSP Engineers to join their expanding Research and Development teams working on wireless technologies such as GSM/GPRS/EDGE and WCDMA/HSDPA/HSUPA . Candidates will be educated to degree standard as a minimum and will have commercial software development experience. In addition my client will look to candidates with the following: · Excellent DSP Layer 1 Development experience · Strong embedded C programming skills ( Assembly programming an advantage) · Experience of memory management designs including overlays, buffering, managing caching, DMA access, bus latency and internal memory assignment · Physical layer APIs, device drivers, knowledge of wireless baseband · Real-time OS firmware development environment and debugging on multi-processor hardware architectures · Knowledge of OFDM, EVDO, A-GPS, 802.11/16, CDMA-1x, The successful candidates will join a team focused on the development of leading-edge radio DSP development for standardized wireless technologies, particularly GSM/GPRS/EDGE/E-EDGE, WCDMA/HSDPA/HSUPA, LTE/OFDM.
