Team Lead WCDMA HSDPA HSUPA - DSP - South West

WCDMA Team Lead with one of the UK's foremost fabless semiconductor company in the wireless communications sector. Skills required include team lead, architecture, DSP, signal processing from RF to MODEM, algorithm definition, realization in Matlab for floating point and fixed-point implementations, implementation of baseband signal processing on DSPs, WCDMA standards including Rel99, Rel5 (HSDPA) and Rel6 (HSUPA). South West start-up.
WCDMA team lead position with a pre IPO fabless semi's company in the South West to play an integral part of the WCDMA team.
The successful applicant will be tasked to with People, team and project management, contribute to and driving product requirements with customers and product marketing for WCDMA reference designs. Defining architectures to meet requirements for WCDMA reference designs and driving project planning, execution, delivery and maintenance phases of product lifecycles.
Candidates will have:
A strong wireless background, signal processing for RF to MODEM
Systems realization from design to implementation, verification and validation.
Communications skills, able to articulate ideas to product developers and senior management.
Algorithm definition and realization using Matlab for floating point and fixed-point implementations.
Previous experience implementing baseband signal processing on DSPs.
In-depth knowledge of WCDMA standards Rel99, Rel5 (HSDPA) and Rel6 (HSUPA).
